As the title suggests, the Aangan team has finally launched their curtain raiser ceremony, which means that the most awaited period drama of the year is only days away from its big launch.

So, the latest news is that the Aangan team along with its star studded cast recently went live with APDP on its curtain raiser ceremony on Sanam Jhung’s show. And needless to mention, the entire ceremony kept us well engaged.

The curtain raiser was attended by Ahsan Khan, Sonya Hussain, Mawra Hocane and the director Ehtashamuddin.

Mawra gives us a little insight about her character as Aliya in the play, as someone who would go out of the ordinary for the one’s she love. She goes on to say that Aliya’s character should not be compared to any other character she has played previously, because Aangan has brought out of all the stars, characters the likes of which they haven’t done before.

Mawra goes on to appreciate Sajal for her amazing acting skills and shares that her love for Sajal in the drama resonates their chemistry in real life as well. Here’s a clip from Mawra’s interview with Behtreen.pk

In APDPs live session with Sonya Hussain, she told us a bit about her character, which features a dark love story with Ahsan. She goes on to mention how Ahsan is an amazing person to work with. Moreover, she praised Ahad, Sajal and Mawra for their sweet gestures of calling her up on the release of Aangan’s first trailer to congratulate her on her acting skills. The absence of Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir was strongly felt at the show, and they later apologized to their fans for it.

Ahad even posted some of his pics with Sajal from the set of his recent work in Turkey, on his Instagram. Take a look:

Well well, the two are absolutely right. They need to make up for their absence and we are hoping to hear more about Aangan from their side as well. The first episode of Aangan will be aired on the coming Thursday.

Oh wait wait! Before you sign out, there’s another good news to give! Did you know the OST to Aangan is out! The best part is, it absolutely lives upto the hype of the drama that has been created. Sung in the melodious voice of Farhan Saeed, any amount of praise would fall short to do justice to it.
