Junoon Is Ready To Set the Stage on Fire This December

Junoon’s reunion has been met with massive fanfare since they did a reprised version of their classic song Khudi under the banner of Sooper Hai Pakistan ka Junoon. And now, with a live concert just around the corner, we are simply finding it difficult to keep our excitement leashed. Just as Junoon is ready to set the stage on fire, the Junoonis are all set to feel that passion and witness history in the making. With countless blockbuster singles and albums, successful international tours and numerous awards, the sufi maestros have won our hearts and are ready to do it once again!

The talented trio reached Karachi three days ago and social media got flooded with their arrival pictures. Salman Ahmed, the lead guitarist of the band, has been sharing sneak peeks of the concert preparations on his social media. He posted a picture with his long-parted friend Ali Azmat claiming “Yaaro Yehi Dosti Hai.” Geo Television Network, being the exclusive media partner to the biggest event of the year, has also been showing glimpses of the trio jamming together while rehearsing for the concert. A recent clip posted by Salman on his twitter account showcased the band casually practicing their hit song “Bulleya,” building up the anticipation of the oh-so-eager Junoon fans.

The current holder of the band Salman Ahmed has lately been dropping hints about how the band is not only revamping nostalgic tunes for their fans, but also working on some new music. This could also mean that the band is working on a reunion album with just the kind of music they are best at!

The arrangements for the concert have already been settled and the trio is all geared up for their power packed performances. What more a gift would the nation want on the birthday of their beloved Quaid, than dancing to the tunes of their favorite sufi rock band. The concert will be held at the DHA Sports Club (Moin Khan Academy) in Karachi, with an exclusive enclosure for women. Sources have revealed that the tickets for the historical event have already been sold out. While the concert is already expected to be the biggest hit of the year, the sufi maestros are expected to do a reunion tour with live concerts all across Pakistan. As for the fans, the Junoonis are already hyped for the Sooper Junoon concert which will only fuel their desire to witness the legends create more music.
